The following message was sent to the Bayside RC Club president and I
thought I should forward it to the club in case you would like to attend
this informative event. I’m somewhat familiar with this product and it is
pretty impressive. There are videos on the Internet if you care to do some
searching for the Skydio R1. It looks like they’d like to show the
capabilities in person to anyone who’d like to attend.

I wanted to reach out to you because of Bayside R/C’s interest in flight
technology. Skydio, creator of the first self-flying camera, is excited to
announce our first in-office workshop, designed to bring people into the
exciting discussion surrounding autonomous flight. Over food and drinks,
hear from Skydio co-founder and CEO Adam Bry, and then get hands-on time
with R1 in our enclosed outdoor area.
I was curious if you would like to extend the invitation to your members.
The workshop will highlight use cases of autonomous quadcopters as well as
give insight to our companyโs vision and technology.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, August 23rd from 6:30-8:00 PM at our
